HAW22 – Keys to Life Kitchen Takeover

As part of homelessness awareness week 2022, the residents at Utility Street – through the keys to life project – took part in a session with Mark the Urban Community Chef where they cooked a large batch of stew to distribute to those vulnerable and on the streets. They worked hard all morning cooking enough stew for 100 meals 100 batches before heading out at lunch time to the city centre.

The theme of this year’s homelessness awareness week is ‘have the conversation’ and whilst out on the streets the residents were able to engage and have conversations with those also affected by homelessness.
